Reynolds Construction’s Wesley Self to be a Panelist at the P3 Water Summit in San Diego

REYNOLDS CONSTRUCTION’S WESLEY SELF TO BE A PANELIST AT THE P3 WATER SUMMIT IN SAN DIEGO

ORLEANS, IN – March 27, 2018 Wesley Self, PE, DBIA, Vice President of Alternative Delivery of Reynolds Construction, a leading water/wastewater treatment and pipeline contractor, highly experienced in alternative delivery projects including: Design-Build (DB), Design-Build-Operate (DBO), Construction Management at Risk (CMAR), and Engineer Procure Construct (EPC), will be participating in a session at the upcoming P3 Water Summit in San Diego, CA being held April 2-4, 2018.

On April 3, Mr. Self will be a panelist on the topic, “The Role of the Operations and Maintenance Partner in Public Private Partnerships” where he will discuss the activities and role of an O&M contractor in a Design-Build-Operate (DBO) project as well as in a typical contract operations agreement with a municipal utility.

In this session they will explore the role of and O&M contractor in a variety of Public Private Partnerships.  For the DBO contract, they will discuss the suite of services an O&M contractor provides during the design and build phases, as well as the hand-off to longer term operations.  The panel will speak to the scope of services in these agreements and have open discussion on the lessons learned.  The discussion will also review the risk sharing and transfers during the various phase of these agreements.  The panel will be represented by both the municipal sector and by design-build firms, providing perspectives from both the public and private sectors.
