Project Description

This is a Fast-tracked addition of owner-furnished PFAS GAC Treatment Equipment to Existing Well 11 project site located in a residential neighborhood. Scope includes Demolition of existing electrical and HVAC in wellhouse, select underground mechanical demo, on-going protection of existing In -service utilities. Excavation 11VF 4 ft adjacent to existing wellhouse/foundation, Excavation, Hauling, Shoring, Dewatering, New Underground Mechanical Piping including 90 ft of 48” Ductile Iron Contact Pipe, New 8” Watermain and interconnection, New Sanitary Piping and Manholes, New Stormwater Inlets, infiltration Capture Basin and Outlet Structure, Forming, Rebar, Poured in Place Structural Concrete Backwash Waste Tank/GAC Building Structural Foundation, Backfill and Compaction, 25 ft x 40 ft x 24 ft wall height Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB), Garage/Entrance Doors, Plumbing, HVAC, Painting, New 40hp Well Pumping Equipment, Backwash Pumps, New Chemical Tank, relocation of existing chemical feed systems from Well House to New GAC Building, New Roof and Painting of Existing Wellhouse;  New Incoming Electrical Utility Service and Electrical construction, Instrumentation Controls and SCADA, Fencing, Landscaping, Driveway Paving; Selective Clearing, Sitework and Paving for New Bicycle Path/Walking Trail along a Neshaminy Creek Tributary to be dedicate to the Borough of Chalfont at completion of the project.
