Project Description

This is a finished water pipeline project to expand the Town of Chandler’s service capabilities in what is a very rapidly expanding area in southwest Indiana. Specific cities and towns to benefit include; Chandler, Evansville, Newburgh and many other smaller communities in Warrick and Vanderburgh counties. The project primarily consists of 41,100’ of 24” DI water, with two 12” DI branch lines totaling 5,300’. These overall quantities include 3,628’ of 24” RJDI and 460’ of 12” RJDI that was installed via horizontal directional drilling, and 430’ inside 36” bore and jacked steel casing. The project also included multiple connections to existing mains as follows: 2 – 14” wet taps, 1 – 12” wet tap, 1 – 8” wet tap, 2 – 24” dry connections, and 2 – 12” dry connections.
